A total of 27 teams from Norquay and surrounding communities participated in the bonspiel.

“It was a great way to wrap up the curling season where everyone can just enjoy the game and have fun, said Rubieann Kluke, an organizer. “We try to encourage youth to participate by offering a ‘no fee’ for 18 and under, therefore we had a total of 23 children curling in this event.”

Taking third place in the first event was the Reece Dahlin team of Norquay, and fourth was Caylee Hiebert of Springside.
