Good weather and a cheering crowd combined to produce an evening of fast-paced fun during the annual SADD baseball game.

The Kamsack Comprehensive Institute (KCI) Students Against Drinking and Driving (SADD) group attracted four teams of ball players on the evening of June 15.

On hand to cook burgers for the crowd were members of the Kamsack Volunteer Fire Department.

“It’s a worthwhile event and we are happy to volunteer to help out,” said Darcy Green of the Kamsack Volunteer Fire Department. Helping Green were Ken Thompson, Mark Forsythe, Kristen Johnson, Makenzie Chernoff, Darrell Lomenda and Reynan Yamson.

“We are pleased with the support shown to our SADD group for this annual community engagement activity,” said Tracy Forsythe, KCI principal and spectator cheering on her favourite team.

Money earned from the event will go towards future SADD events.
