The River Valley Archery Club (RVAC) is celebrating its one-year anniversary.

On March 2 and 3, RVAC will be hosting an indoor, 3D shoot at the Veregin rink, the venue which the club has been using as a home base.

“We are very proud to say we made it through our first year and hope everyone can come out and celebrate our one-year anniversary,” said Scott Green, club president and driving force.

“The club invites anyone interested in archery to come out and watch some good shooting and enjoy some good food or drinks during the two-day event.”

March 2 will start with an early pancake breakfast. There will be door prizes and 50/50 draws.

RVAC has been hosting various events throughout the fall and winter including wing and rib night and the Valentines Steak or Chicken fundraiser held earlier at the Iron Grill.

The Club has been opened for shoots at the Veregin Rink, weather permitting, at times this winter, and club bows are available.

Proceeds from the fundraisers will be put toward insulating the rink in order to shoot throughout the winter.
