WHL Roundup: Tracey stars in overtime as Warriors edge Hurricanes 3-2

MOOSE JAW, Sask. — Brayden Tracey scored 3:40 into overtime to power the Moose Jaw Warriors past the Lethbridge Hurricanes 3-2 on Saturday in Western Hockey League action.

Josh Brook and Tristin Langan had regulation-time goals for the Warriors (12-5-4), while Adam Evanoff made 25 saves for the win.

Taylor Ross and Keltie Jeri-Leon scored for the Hurricanes (11-8-5), while Reece Klassen stopped 33 shots in net.

Moose Jaw was 1 for 3 on the power play and Lethbridge could not score on its two man advantages.

SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. — Max Patterson's goal 12:26 into the second period stood as the winner as the Broncos held off Edmonton.

Andrew Fyten and Ben King also scored for Swift Current (4-18-2).

Brett Kemp and Ethan Cap had goals for the Oil Kings (14-9-4).

CRANBROOK, B.C. — Ozzy Wiesblatt scored the go-ahead goal near the game's midway point as Prince Albert downed Kootenay.

Brett Leason, Parker Kelly, Noah Gregor and Brayden Pachal rounded out the attack as the Raiders (23-1-0) won their 16th straight.

Michael Milne replied for the Ice (7-16-4).

RED DEER, Alta. — Bryan Lockner struck twice, including the late winner, as Medicine Hat sank the Rebels.
