Two persons hired at KCI as educational assistants

A university student switching her major and a former resident who returned to Kamsack are two new educational assistants working at the Kamsack Comprehensive Institute.

            A university student switching her major and a former resident who returned to Kamsack are two new educational assistants working at the Kamsack Comprehensive Institute.

            Alexis Schwartz of Runnymede, who had graduated from the KCI in 2015 and Tara Richardson who has returned to Kamsack from five years living in Calgary were hired effective November 15.

            Since graduating from the KCI, Schwartz was enrolled in a nursing course at the University of Regina, but has taken a year off her studies because she has decided to change her major course of study.

            Among her interests is hockey and she helps coach her sister Brooke’s team, the Yorkton Crushers female bantam team which is a member of the South Saskatchewan Female Hockey League.

            A native of Airdrie, Alta, Richardson had lived in Kamsack but then moved to Calgary. A mother of two sons aged 18 months and four years, she said that among her interests is theatre and she expects to participate in Kamsack Players’ productions.
