Several musicians entertained at Pelly Coffee House event

Vocalists and musicians entertained a crowd at the Pelly Happy Hearts Centre on November 15.

The event was named the Pelly Coffee House and was a jam session where entertainers from Swan River, Benito, and Minitonas, Man., as well as local artists from Kamsack and Pelly played their instruments and sang old-time songs.

Participants and attendants alike danced and played while supper and a light luncheon were served.

George Crane of Swan River was the emcee for the afternoon event.

Among the entertainers were: Bill Brown, Nick Lapsiuk, Sylvia Negraeff, Sarah Genaille, Peter Ferland, Florestine Ferlnd, Marianne Hulme, Colleen Ames, Fred Chorney, Danny Horkoff, Teresa Sanderson, Dorothy Howtow, James Chartrand, Alvin Jerome and Brian Clough.
