Lead by second-term mayor, Nancy Blunt, the newly appointed Kamsack council members assembled for their first meeting at town hall on Monday, November 16. Mayor Blunt told the Kamsack Times she was looking forward to working with the new team that she suspected would represent a good balance of community viewpoints. The board consists of three women and three men who are varied in age and occupations. The meeting served as an initial briefing, while committee portfolios won’t be assigned until the next meeting on November 30.
