Dr. Sam Mazahreh is planning to set up a dental practice in Kamsack at the beginning of July. Mandi Kuculym, a former Kamsack resident, was instrumental in encouraging Mazahreh to set up a practice here.

A floorplan has been drafted, papers have been signed and construction is well underway to enable a dentist to re-locate to Kamsack.

“I am hoping to be moved in and all set up to practice by the beginning of July,” Dr. Sam Mazahreh said.

“My business group has seven offices in Saskatchewan at this time. We have locations in Regina, Fort Qu’Appelle, Assiniboia, Weyburn, Meadow Lake and two in Nipawin.

“Kamsack has been without a dentist for a long time, so I thought it would be a good fit to open a new dental practice here.

“I made the trip to Kamsack and just loved the town, so the decision was made to open an office,” he said.

Mazahereh explained there will be a full complement on staff at the new office including a dental assistant, a hygienist and possibly two dentists for full-time client coverage.

The dental practice will be set up in the building located at 184 Queen Elizabeth Boulevard (the former Doukhobor Prayer Home.)

“I have worked with a young woman from this area, Mandi Kuculym (nee Hellegards.) She is so fond of this area and she was instrumental in getting me to come to Kamsack and see for myself why it is such a wonderful town.

“I am pleased to be setting up a new dental office in Kamsack,” said Mazahreh.

The owner and visionary of Aspire Dental Canada, Mazahreh is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Dental School.  After graduating, he attended a general practice residency in Long Island New York, said an information release.

His career has encompassed all facets of dentistry in multiple practice settings in Ontario and Saskatchewan delivering multiple types of general dentistry to a vast array of patient demographics. His experience evolved into a passion for surgery, and today, he performs

He is a graduate of the University of Toronto practice management certification, which solidified his expertise in best practices for a thriving practice with a positive team morale, and highest level of patient experience, the information said.
