An annual event sponsored by Legion members to honour veterans was held on Sunday.
The Remembrance Day Tea, which this year included a Cookie Walk fundraiser, was held at the Legion Hall.
Karen Bodnaryk and Milena Hollett co-chaired the event and Flt. Sgt. Aidan Broda and Cpl. Sage Tourangeau of the Kamsack air cadets served coffee and tea to the attendees.
The Cookie Walk was an attraction that kept Legion members Jean Woodward and Carol Stoyand busy filling containers with a variety of homemade cookies that had been donated by Legion members for the fundraiser. Attendees were able to mix and match their cookie purchases to have a variety to take with them.
A Chinese Auction table was manned by Judy Green, a 45-year Legion member, and her mother, Norma Woodward, a long-serving Legion member.
