That familiar and much-loved story of young Dorothy who visits the Land of Oz is being staged as a musical production by the Norquay School’s junior drama club at the Norquay Covenant Church on April 13.
Everyone is welcome to attend the junior drama club’s production of The Wizard of Oz, said Nicole Olson, the director.
After a tornado whisks away a young Kansas farm girl, Dorothy, to the magical land of Oz, she starts her quest to find the mighty Wizard of Oz who has the power to send her home,” says a synopsis of the play. “Along the way she meets a Scarecrow, a Tin Woodsman and a Cowardly Lion who help her on her journey.”
