Members of the newly-elected Kamsack town council took their oaths of office during their inaugural meeting in the council chambers on Monday, which began their four-year terms overseeing the affairs of the community. From left, they are: (standing) newly-elected Councillor Jared Ruf; Councillor Karen Koreluik, which had previously served a term on council, and newcomer Councillor Mark Foster, and (seated) returning Councillor Claire Bishop, Mayor Nancy Brunt, who was a councillor in the previous administration, and Councillor Maria Nahnybida who has returned for a second four-year term. Jason Pennell, the sixth councillor elected this year, who is also a newcomer to council, was not available for the photo.
