Kamsack Senior Centre holds whist competitions

A team of Russ Brunt and John Adamyk placed first in the Kamsack Seniors Centre whist competitions for the month of February. A team of Joyce MacLean and Joanna Zychkowski placed second.

            A team of Russ Brunt and John Adamyk placed first in the Kamsack Seniors Centre whist competitions for the month of February.

            A team of Joyce MacLean and Joanna Zychkowski placed second. Bernice Kropodra and Lynda Cherwenuk tied with Dorothy Pfiefer and Anne Sembaluk for third and fourth place honours.

            Consolation recognition went to a team of Isabel Ritchie and Leonilla Fisher.

            There were a total of 32 players for the month of February.

            In January, a team of John Adamyk and Charles Thomas placed first in the whist competitions in a field of 28 players.

            A team of Don Rose and Helen Rose placed second. Third spot was won by Al Rose and Jean Rose, and placing fourth was a team of Evelyn Banks and Helen Polzen. Consolation was awarded to Anne Sembaluk and Dorothy Pfiefer.

            It was decided to change the pricing structure for commercial property owned by the Town to $200 per frontage foot and the reduction rate for the purchase of adjacent commercial lots was cancelled as was the partial purchase price refund for construction.
