The Kamsack branch of the Order of the Royal Purple No. 200 became an organization on May 23, 1956, Moskal said. The group joined the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks (BPOE) on Februay 6, 2015 and then became known as the Kamsack Royal Purple Elks No. 200.

“Our aging members have health issues and it is with much regret our organization has decided to relinquish its charter as members are unable to participate in our activities,” she said.

“We would like to inform all other groups who depended on us for sponsorships that we will no longer be participating.”

The executive committee comprised of Ardis C. Irvine, Honoured Royal Lady; Leonilla Fisher, treasurer, and Moskal has indicated it will have everything finished this month
